Neele Marie Denker (M.A.) is a spatial designer and curator working at the intersection of exhibition production, project coordination, and curatorial practice. Her work focuses on the development and realization of exhibition formats, often in close dialogue with artists, designers, and cultural institutions. Her curatorial grounding was shaped through the artistic direction of the 2020 Graduation Show at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design. Since then, she has contributed to a range of exhibition and research projects in roles spanning project coordination, production, spatial design, and curatorial development, collaborating with partners such as Museum Ulm, IMAGINE THE CITY, nextmuseum.io, and the Reykjavík Art Museum.
Neele holds a Master’s degree with distinction from the Department of Spatial Strategies at Muthesius University, where her research focused on the concept of curatorial hospitality. She later worked as a research associate at Muthesius University, coordinating the university’s first postgraduate Sustainability Design Lab. Her curatorial perspective has further been shaped through studies in Curatorial Practice at the Iceland University of the Arts and through her involvement in interdisciplinary cultural initiatives. As an initiator and collaborator on various projects, she works across formats including exhibitions, editorial work, and public programming.
Following a period of parental leave, she is currently returning to collaborative cultural projects and exhibition work. She is presently involved in curatorial initiatives with MOKIT.
